Cold Comfort Farm is one of the most awesome creations ever, and yes, it's the same author. Nightingale Wood is about a girl whose husband dies early in their marriage, and she has to go and live with his dreary middle class family, and it's just about how the characters find their own ways in life. It sounds a bit dull like that, but it really is wonderful. It's different to CCF because it's not so much of a pastiche as a straight novel, but I would highly recommend it.
