Eek!

We're going to get parma-violet-loving rats any day now. Alas.

We find this terribly amusing. This is a special home.

The mind boggles. It really does.

And - parma violets! Euwww!!

:-D

May I ask for clarification?

I know! They're disgusting! We had some left over after our housewarming/Katie's birthday party, and I tried one in case they had stopped tasting like soap, but sadly not. So they got abandoned by the side of the sofa, and things sort of silted up (because yes, we are like those scary old men in documentaries who never throw ANYTHING away) and we just excavated them. Alas. We are quite squalid, frankly...

What a fine icon that is!

And yes, soap! That is exactly it!

They're so mank...

I LOVE Parma Violets. Love em.

Does that make me a rat?

I would not be so rude as to comment... *g*

I'd always assumed you could use parma violets to poison things with, so no rat problems...
