Tally ho...
Meep. That is to say, hello! See how I am finally allowed back on LJ - it's a miracle. Not that I now have very much to say, really.
1. Decorating
I finished decorating my study, so that it's now all pretty and has curtains up etc. I will be getting drawers from Ikea tomorrow, so I can finally finish unpacking, and once Katie's parents have been with the electric screwdriver, I can build my new bookcase, and decant some of the books from my shelves, because they are currently double- and triple-stacked, and it's rather confining. Then, once I finally sort out a desk, I will be merry as a grig. Then, this weekend, I will start on my bedroom - I bought the paint (v. exciting - had it mixed speshly) at the weekend and will be getting the curtains tomorrow (also an Ikea jobby). It would be nice to finish the painting this weekend, but I don't really see it happening. I also need to switch my bed around, which will be an interesting task to say the least.
2. Le cinema
Went to see The Lake House last night, which was highly entertaining, though not as entertaining as Katie's squeeful reaction to it on the way home. Many, many plot holes, but still a jolly good film. And the other week we went to see The Da Vinci Code, which elicited the deeply informative and witty review of 'Hmmmmm'. We felt that pretty much said it all. And in two weeks there will be Pirates of the Caribbean (huzzah! Yoicks!) and then after that Superman!!!! Oh, the excitement, it overfloweth.
That's about it for the time being. Nothing very exciting has been happening.
Oh, except to say 'Mwaaaaaaaaaa!!' at House. Because , y'know, mwaaaaaaaa!!

Den, do you know a song that has 'happy sad' in the lyrics and is possibly a girl and maybe in the 90s?

Watch the pop ups on that site though.
Can't get you a copy of the song, sorry, Lindsey is in a coma still :( and my new solder hasn't yet arrivied, so I can't repair her, and it is very very sad, and i am very distressed about not having the internet at home, and I'm going to stop now before I start sobbing.
