This and that, hither and yon...

Woohoo - the ENB is doing Canterville Ghost for a couple of days in London and I'm off to see it next Friday with my trusty £10 ticket. And Katie and I are off to see The Man of Mode in mid April. And ICL Dram Soc is doing Arcadia in a couple of weeks and I really want to get tickets for it, but it's turning Complicated. I hope I can go, though, because it is the single most brilliant play in the world and I love it muchly. I was planning to post a few good bits, but have realised that sadly my (very dog-eared) copy is at my parents'.

I'd push the lot of you over a cliff myself. Except the one in the wheelchair, I think I'd lose the sympathy vote before people had time to think it through.

*has Arcadia love*

my father has stealthed his copy back, which is just rude...

*g* Ah, Bernard...

HANNAH: It's all trivial - your grouse, my hermit, Bernard's Byron. Comparing what we're looking for misses the point. It's wanting to know that makes us matter. Otherwise we're going out the way we came in. That's why you can't believe in the afterlife, Valentine. Believe in the after, by all means, but not the life. Believe in God, the soul, the spirit, the infinite, believe in angels if you like, but not in the great celestial get-together for an exchange of views. If the answers are in the back of the book I can wait, but what a drag. Better to struggle on knowing that failure is final.
