A tiny part of me says 'but how can you cut up a book like that' (since that is what it looks like ) but the rest me drowns it out with 'how gorgeous that is'.
When I first heard about 'altering' books as an art form like this, I was horrified, I seem to remember almost having a fit in Waterstones over it (much to the giggliness of Nicola and Helen Ps) but the more I see of it and the more I think, the more appropriate and and tantalising it seems, and this is a lovely piece, and so right for the book.
