Although I should note that she has STOLEN my old desk chair (which I was quite fond of, thank you very much, and would quite like to have respossessed) and re-covered it for her own nefarious purposes. Pah. But anyway, we had this exchange yesterday (I broached the idea a couple of weeks ago about her taking me and Katie to Ikea at some stage to buy furniture – she was unconvinced):
Me: So, yes. Shall I tell you about my cunning Ikea plan?
M: If you like. It’s not necessarily going to influence me into taking you.
Me: Oh, the influence will come later.
M: Really?
Me: Oh yes.
M: You know I’m going to take you anyway.
Me: I know. You’re just playing hard to get.
M: Yep.
Me: So, yes. Shall I tell you about my cunning Ikea plan?

She accessed the internet, and navigated her way to a web page, then sat back, looking expectantly over her shoulder at Jack.
