"Don't objectify me!"
Nov. 10th, 2007 10:11 pmWell, if today hasn't been quite as productive as I would have liked, it hasn't been a total wash out. I did my hair this morning (well, started my fringe last night, and had a second whack at it this morning), and I now have a respectable-looking fringe and hair of a slightly ruddier tinge. Yay. I wrote my letters and posted them, as well as acquiring garlic bread for tonight's spag bol fest (I am proud to say, Nicola, that no bay leaves were lost to the endeavour *g*), and A Few Good Men for the princely sum of 50p. I also, thank heavens, managed to find poppy-selling people (all of whom I swear were lining the streets of East Sheen, as I saw at least four) and bought my poppy, so I no longer feel like the dregs of society.
I have not cleaned the bathroom yet, but I did about six loads of washing up (Katie finished it off when she got home), and some more laundry (of which I seem to have an inexhaustible supply). I even got my three random articles of clothing which need handwashing out of the bottom of my laundry bag (one cardigan, pale pink, merino wool; one top, pale pink, silk; one skirt, red, linen, handmade) with the intention of doing them tomorrow.
In more exciting domestic news, I got the soon-to-be-living-room curtains out of the linen cupboard, and Katie and I are unpicking them so they can be remade to the correct length and width. We will be shopping for curtain tape in Kingston shortly. Praise the lord, frankly. We have been curtainless in there for too long. When the miracle occurs, and the curtains are up, there will be photographic proof. Not to mention endless bragging at our genius.
We watched un peu de tv. Supernatural was, as ever, a delight. Bones rocks and Booth was doing the tapping this time round... ♥ Also, Gossip Girl rocks. Ah, Lily, you don't really want not!Jim Robinson...
I don't think I have much else to report, so I will bop off to bed. Well, I'm technically in bed at the moment, but you know what I mean... A demain, chéries.
