Cunning Like A Catfish
Nov. 30th, 2007 02:19 pm1. My foot actually seems to be better. There has not been quite as much in the way of hobbling. Bon, say I.
2. Have sent off job application. I was going to solicit comments on covering letter, but in the end wrote it in about three seconds flat, so it’s probably shit. Nevermind. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. Not that I believe in fate. At all. So I’m not quite sure why I wrote that. Hmm.
3. BSG-love continues apace. La. Jamie Bamber. Archie Kennedy was my favourite character in Hornblower, and I find myself quite fond of young Captain Adama. Plus, it’s quite thinky, and I like that in a show.
4. Watched TV last whilst doing Christmas baking and getting ever so slightly tipsy on brandy. Could happen to anyone. Bones. Ah, Bones. It’s just being the sweetest programme in the history of the world ever at the moment. I wasn’t sure back in the day, but now it’s definitely Booth/Bones ftw. Anyway, we watched that and NCIS and Gossip Girl. That last was tricksy, because there was a beautiful scenario being set up, and I was desperate to watch, only I was simultaneously attempting to make caramel. Now, we all know that me and multitasking do not go together, plus had back to laptop, *and* I had to keep stirring so that the caramel wouldn’t do anything weird. But it all worked out, and the caramel looked and indeed tasted nice and caramelly.
5. Katie has e-mailed me my list of things to do today. Every minute of December is carefully planned out. Oh yes.
6. Had scrambled eggs for tea. Yum. Love scrambled eggs.
