Tragically, I did not go to the beach yesterday. Something about severe weather warnings? Carpet picnic chez King instead - good times. Not much else to report. Katie and I are off shortly to see Henry IV Part One, so hopefully there will be no rain till it's over, though standing in the yard of the Globe in the pouring rain does have a charm of its own. But hey, we've had that experience, and enough is as good as a feast, according to Mary Poppins, and who am I to argue with her?

I will be largely toute seule for the next week and a half, which is a recipe for tragedy if ever there was one. At the very least I will trash FT and then have to tidy it up in a stress-fuelled frenzy at one AM before Katie gets back. Boo.
