Women: You are allowed to enjoy romances, soap operas, fluffy comedies and stuff about fashion and/or childraising. AND NOTHING MORE. Time was, a socially awkward misogynist could retreat to his fantasy world where women were mere window dressing by watching something that back then the media was adamant only men enjoyed and, since he'd never actually strike up a conversation with a woman and have his stereotypes challenged, could believe that this remained the case but now there's the internet and the occasional space heroine in trousers and oh God, they like his stuff!
