I have a life plan: Mid 40's - become Margot (hectoring tone, musical society meetings where I will be chairman, blatant snob), Mid 60's - become Miss Marple a la Joan Hicksoon (have crocodile snap handbag, be wise yet enigmatic, cardigans - varying colours). I have it aaaallll worked out.
I'm sure it's pretty much an ingrained habit by now. You could arrange to be a Miss Marple in a Midsummer XXX village, so that there's bound to be about a trillion mysterious deaths. And garden fetes. Occasionally coinciding.
Am still considering that one. For stage 1 it's useful, but for stage 2 rather tiresome.
If you thnk the cag is good (bad), wait until you see Spike's apartment in Series 5. Think mid-80's Brooklyn gay pad and you'd have some idea. He has a china pineapple and a pink cadilac in there. I mean, WTF ? Were they trying to turn him ?
