...it ain't worth a thing unless it's spread around, encouraging new things to grow."

And I stand by that.

This weekend, I have pur-chased in town:

Two pairs of short trousers in Monsoon's sale (and hopefully the blue ones will obviate the need for me to wears shorts on camp) (sort of budgetted for)
Four t-shirts (three from Matalan; one from M&S) - the Matalan ones were budgetted for, the M&S one wasn't
A bra & some knickers (budgetted for)
E45 cream and hair clips (boring, but I'm being completist here; not budgetted for but fairly insignificant)

and at the car boot sale:

Half a dozen chicklit books, averaging about 40p a pop (still have no idea why I've suddenly taking to reading these after spurning them for the past decade)
Seven Willard Price books (25p each - I couldn't resist! o, how I loved Hal...)
One Noel Streatfeild (which I theoretically already own, but it's one of those Missing Books, so... *shrugs*)
Collection of Noel Corward plays, featuring an introduction by Mr Coward himself
Robert Service poetry book, for my grandmother if she doesn't already have it
General poetry anthology
A Bill Bryson book
Random little plate. Have no idea what I'm going to do with it
Videos: Deep Impact, Blues Brothers, Sleepless in Seattle, Flight of the Navigator (hurrah! hurrah!), Aladdin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame (OK, yes, I love that film, notwithstanding its Disneyness), Minority Report, and another one that I can't remember off the top of my head, sadly.

It is the curse of payday. Oimi.

Thank you both v. much, but I managed to get my favourite ones (ah, Gorilla Adventure, how I love thee) and am thus set on the Willard Price front. Mais merci pour l'offre...
