♥ Well, that was a cracking thunderstorm last night! Big, rumbly thunder, the best kind (unless I actually dreamt it all, which is poss).

♥ I have to do some washing up. Boo.

♥ Maybe I will make cake. Maybe I won't. We'll see how the spirit moves me.

♥ I also need to write part 2 of my Star Trek high school AU. I'm quite excited - I've never written a high school AU before, so I don't even care if it's a bit shit.

♥ LOL @ middle class problems: my grandmother now has two gardeners because she can't bring herself to fire the rubbish one!

I decided I'd do a little post, then couldn't be bothered to talk about anything much. Heigh ho. I took lots of pictures of all my favourite bits of my grandparents' house this morning, but Grandad hasn't set up his camera to transfer to the computer yet, so I can't show you any of them. We made an apple pie with ginger in it for pudding at lunch, which was yum. Might have to give that a go at home. Weather is glorious, though we haven't been out. Haven't done my art project; it'll have to wait till next weekend.

Ooh, Katie and I went to Streatham to see National Treasure 2, which was ace beyond words (though the producers' grasp of mathematics is shaky to say the least), and we are eagerly awaiting the inevitable National Treasure 3. Juno this Wednesday. Looking forward to that, not least because of the presence of Allison Janney.

Just to keep you all in the loop, I have now changed my bedlinen (hospital corners conspicuously absent, I must confess) and spoken to my grandparents. My grandmother is on fine form, despite inconvenience of cold. Mention that their tea loaf had brandy in; Grandma says that explains why she was dancing around the kitchen. Decide discretion is the better part of valour and do not point out that she is liable to do that anyway.

Have just realised that I owe about fifty letters, and so I will bid you adieu, and make some tiny inroads in my stationery stock...
